United Kingdom – Quadrant Pilot Training, a full flight simulator training center in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, and simulator operator Infinity Sim Wings have jointly launched the APS MCC+ course, an advanced Multi-Crew Cooperation programme designed to build on the standard APS MCC by incorporating applied behavioural research and an individualised approach focused on airline operational readiness.
- The APS MCC+ course is positioned to extend beyond conventional MCC training by targeting how pilots think, communicate, and make decisions in practice — competencies identified by the two organisations as critical to airline operational performance but not fully addressed by the standard APS MCC curriculum.
- The programme integrates applied behavioural research into its design, delivered within Infinity Sim Wings' simulation environments.
Statements
- "We see a clear distinction between completing a course and being ready to operate in an airline environment. APS MCC+ has been designed to build on the APS MCC foundation by focusing on how pilots think, communicate and make decisions in practice," said Simon Bill, Managing Director, Quadrant Pilot Training.
- "Our focus has always been on developing confident and credible pilots. By combining behavioural insight with realistic simulation environments, we can support pilots in building the skills that matter in day-to-day operations," said Hani Nabeel, Founder, Infinity Sim Wings.
