United Arab Emirates – Vertical Advanced Flight Training (Vertical AUPRT) and ActionFlight Aviation, a UAE-based GCAA-approved training organisation specialising in Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT), have announced the resumption of flight operations in the UAE following a temporary pause.
- Vertical Advanced Flight Training and ActionFlight confirmed they are fully operational and flying again, indicating a return to normal training activities after a period of disruption linked to the regional security environment.
- The organisations expressed appreciation for the UAE's leadership and the stability that has enabled the resumption of operations for aviation businesses across the Emirates.
- ActionFlight Aviation operates as a GCAA-approved ATO based at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, with Vertical AUPRT functioning as its dedicated Advanced UPRT training division — the first provider in the UAE and the wider MENA/GCC region to hold ATO approval for Advanced UPRT.
- Vertical AUPRT delivers its program using the Extra 330 aerobatic aircraft, combining structured ground school instruction with airborne training designed to address Loss of Control In-Flight (LOC-I), a leading cause of aviation fatalities.
- In February 2026, AFM reported that Vertical AUPRT had celebrated its first cohort of graduates from the Advanced UPRT programme, with participants including pilots progressing toward airline careers with carriers such as flydubai and Air Arabia.
