UAE’s Emirates Seeking to Recruit Additional Flight Simulator Technicians in 2026

United Arab Emirates – Dubai's flag carrier Emirates is seeking to recruit an Engineer – Flight Simulators to support its advanced Flight Training Facilities, reinforcing technical oversight of full-flight simulator operations across Airbus and Boeing platforms.

  • The role supports Emirates’ full-flight simulator fleet used for Airbus and Boeing flight deck training.

  • Engineering coverage extends across:

    • Flight Training devices.

    • Cabin Crew Training devices.

    • In-Flight Services Training devices.

  • The position involves complex fault rectification and maintaining overall device performance and simulation fidelity.

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Hardware and software configuration management.

    • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

    • Regulatory testing and simulator qualification support.

    • Liaison with equipment suppliers and technical contractors.

    • Participation in acquisition and acceptance of new training devices.

    • Leading technicians in mechanical and electrical repair tasks.

  • The Engineer will also support ongoing Regulatory Authority simulator qualifications, including evaluation sessions and debriefs.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ Years

  • Degree in Engineering (preferably Aeronautical). Alternatively, academic requirements may be substituted for proven experience and expertise gained within the industry; provided with relevant qualifications and certifications.

  • The jobholder requires at least 2 years professional experience within the simulation and training equipment industry.

  • Should have a track record of working in medium to large technical organisations.

  • Required to be technically aware, and to have well-developed team development skills.
