Turkiye – Turkish Airlines Flight Academy (TAFA), the ab initio pilot training organisation of Turkish Airlines, has expanded its operational authorizations to include aircraft maintenance services, commencing maintenance operations at its Adana campus as of May 2026.

  • The addition of maintenance services to TAFA's authorizations enables the academy to conduct in-house aircraft maintenance at its Adana training base, reducing dependency on external maintenance providers and improving fleet availability for flight training operations.
  • TAFA operates one of the world's largest airline-owned flight training programs. In 2025, the academy posted strong growth with active student numbers increasing 32% from 456 in January to 600 by December 2025.
