Florida, USA — flight school Pilot Training Center (PTC) has received delivery of four Tecnam P92 Echo MkII aircraft, marking a fleet modernisation effort aimed at enhancing student experience with technologically advanced and fuel-efficient trainers.
The newly delivered Tecnam P92 Echo MkII aircraft are equipped with Garmin G3X Touch glass cockpits and Garmin autopilot systems, allowing students to log Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) time from early training stages.
Powered by Rotax 912 engines, the aircraft offer notable fuel efficiency — consuming 4–5 gallons per hour — and can operate on unleaded mogas, reducing carbon emissions and aligning with sustainability goals.
The fleet addition supports PTC’s dual-certification training under FAA Part 141 and Part 61 and is expected to boost training appeal for both domestic and international cadets.
