Germany & Austria – GM Aviation, the official and exclusive Tecnam dealer for Germany and Austria, has confirmed orders for two new Tecnam aircraft — a P2010 Gran Lusso TDI and a P2008JC NG — while announcing an enhanced regional after-sales and training support strategy developed jointly with Tecnam at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026.

  • Both aircraft will serve as dedicated demonstrators, providing potential customers across Germany and Austria with the opportunity to experience Tecnam's platforms firsthand across the flight training and private aviation sectors.
  • During AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, Tecnam and GM Aviation consolidated a joint training strategy specifically designed to support Flight Training Organisations (FTOs) and private owners, alongside a new integrated after-sales strategy.
  • The after-sales enhancements include spare parts distribution services through Global Aviation Parts and the appointment of additional Tecnam authorized service centres, ensuring local operators — particularly FTOs — receive continuous technical support and minimal operational downtime.
  • Tecnam secured 86 confirmed aircraft orders at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 from European ATOs and operators, including major fleet expansion contracts with European Flyers (Spain), GreyBird Aviation Group, Center Air Pilot Academy (Denmark), Smart Aviation (Poland), ACS Aviation (UK), and Finnish Aviation Academy.

Statements

  • "We have had a great year with Tecnam, and are looking forward to many more. It has been a pleasure working with the customer and the team from Italy, which is why we are showing further commitment. We are very much looking forward to showing these two great aircraft to our customers," said Jan-Niclas Krahn, Sales at GM Aviation.
  • "We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with GM Aviation. Their proactive approach to the German and Austrian markets as our official dealer perfectly aligns with our vision. By introducing these exceptional aircraft alongside our newly consolidated joint training strategy, we are uniquely equipped to support FTOs and elevate the standard of service for private owners across the region," said Pasquale De Rosa, Sales Manager for Europe at Tecnam.
