Rega Hosts British Empire Test Pilots' School Instructors for Tour of Reiser-Built Full Flight Helicopter Simulator

Switzerland – Rega, the Swiss Air-Rescue service, hosted instructors from the British Empire Test Pilots' School (ETPS) at its facilities for a tour of Rega's helicopter full flight simulator, manufactured by Reiser Simulation and Training, as part of a test pilot meeting exchange.

• Rega's helicopter simulator is a full flight simulator manufactured by Reiser Simulation and Training, equipped with a roll-on/roll-off system allowing the cockpits of both the Airbus H145 and H125 to be used on the same motion platform — enabling multi-type training on a single simulator installation.
• The Empire Test Pilots' School (ETPS), operated by QinetiQ, is one of the most established and leading training centers for test pilots and flight test engineers globally, training specialists in both military and civil flight testing.
• The visit provided ETPS instructors with exposure to Rega's simulation capabilities and operational training approach, reflecting the ongoing exchange of knowledge between helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) operators and military flight test training institutions.
