Malaysia Aviation Group Opens 2026 Frozen ATPL Cadet Pilot Applications for Malaysian Citizens

Malaysia – Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has opened applications for its Cadet Pilot Program (Frozen ATPL), targeting Malaysian citizens who hold a frozen ATPL and are looking to progress to a flight deck career with the airline group.

  • The program is open exclusively to Malaysian citizens aged 18 to 45, with a minimum height requirement of 158cm, and is open to both male and female applicants; candidates who are currently enrolled in a flight training organisation (FTO) or undergoing abridged conversion training are not eligible.
  • Applicants must hold a valid CPL(A)/IR with a frozen ATPL, a valid CAAM Class 1 Medical Certificate, and a CAAM Theoretical Knowledge Certificate, with a minimum of 200 total flying hours required.
  • Candidates who pass pre-screening will be invited to an in-person interview and must present original documents including their SPM/IGCSE certificate, degree or diploma, logbook, flying school report, and a valid Eclipse registration card.
