Turkiye & Kuwait – KEYVAN Aviation, a globally recognized Istanbul-headquartered provider of aeronautical and navigation databases and aviation data solutions, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Maceen Al Sharq, one of Kuwait's leading technology companies, to strengthen KEYVAN's presence in Kuwait and across the Gulf region.

  • The agreement was signed ahead of SAHA 2026, Turkiye's defense and aerospace exhibition, and marks an important milestone in KEYVAN Aviation's regional expansion strategy.
  • Through the partnership, both parties will collaborate on joint initiatives to deliver tailored solutions for civil and military aviation stakeholders in the Gulf region.
  • KEYVAN Aviation is one of only four EASA-approved aeronautical data providers worldwide and the first in Turkiye, specializing in aeronautical and navigation databases for aircraft avionics systems, flight simulators, and flight planning tools. The company also provides operational support services including NOTAMs, METAR/TAF, and digital flight charts.
  • KEYVAN has been actively expanding its international partnerships and applications. In February 2026, Turkiye's next-generation KAAN fighter jet was confirmed to integrate KEYVAN-developed aeronautical data. In January 2026, Germany's DextraData Aviation Technologies signed a long-term agreement with KEYVAN to power its next-generation Electronic Flight Bag solution Talora. The company has also been engaging regional leadership in Iğdır Province, Turkiye, on aviation development initiatives.
