Italy's Intuos Visits Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach Campus on U.S. Expansion Trip

Florida, USA – Intuos, an Italy-based digital platform provider unifying training, operations, and fleet management for pilot training organisations, has visited Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus as part of a U.S. expansion trip aimed at building relationships with major flight training institutions.

  • Intuos representatives spent half a day at Embry-Riddle's College of Aviation and Research Park, engaging with university leadership on infrastructure, technology, safety, and student support capabilities.
  • The visit included meetings with Embry-Riddle faculty and leadership including Riccardo Bevilacqua, Daniel Friedenzohn, and Robert L. Sumwalt, the former chair of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board.
  • Embry-Riddle's Daytona Beach campus operates a fleet of more than 160 aircraft, representing one of the largest university-based training fleets globally.
  • Intuos recently secured €720,000 in funding to expand its integrated platform for aircraft fleet operators, combining proprietary IoT devices with machine learning-based analytics and operational software to streamline training oversight, maintenance, and operational decision-making.
