United Arab Emirates – Ansett Aviation Training, a global pilot training solution provider headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, has reported that a batch of Indian pilots has received their Indian DGCA licence endorsement following Airbus A320 type rating training completed earlier in 2026 at Ansett's Dubai Training Center.
- The successful DGCA endorsement confirms that the A320 type rating training delivered at Ansett's Dubai facility meets the standards required for Indian regulatory recognition, enabling the pilots to operate the type on Indian-registered aircraft.
- The batch of pilots was deployed to Dubai by popular Indian pilot training organisation and facilitator TNC Aviation.
- Ansett Aviation Training (AAT)'s Dubai Training Center in the United Arab Emirates is one of six global training centers operated by the company, which houses over 30 full flight simulators across locations in Melbourne (headquarters), additional Australian sites, Milan (Italy), Taipei (Taiwan), and the Dubai facility (UAE).
- AAT has a long history of supporting the Indian aviation industry, having previously delivered over 140 Airbus A320 type ratings for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot program through its training center in Melbourne, Australia.
