India – India’s Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, has reported continued expansion of the country’s national pilot-training capacity, highlighting strong growth in Flying Training Organisations (FTOs) and training-aircraft availability across the country.
India now has 40 FTOs operating across 62 bases
The DGCA facilitated the induction of 61 new training aircraft into FTO fleets as of November 2025
The regulator also approved two new FTOs in 2025,
