Denmark & Ireland – GreyBird Pilot Academy, the Denmark headquartered pilot training group, has announced the plans for the official opening of a new training base in Dublin, Ireland, located at 23 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2. The first class will begin in August 2026, with students already signed and limited remaining seats.

  • GreyBird has been executing a rapid European expansion strategy. The academy opened its Helsinki, Finland base in January 2026, where demand exceeded expectations, and confirmed plans to expand into Norway in 2026. The group also operates established bases in Denmark, Sweden, and Spain.
  • At AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, GreyBird standardized its European fleet with an order for 13 Tecnam aircraft comprising 10 P-Mentors and 3 P2006T NGs, reflecting the scale of its multi-base training operations.
  • In January 2025, GreyBird welcomed 40 new students across its Danish and Swedish bases, a 60% increase from the previous year, with a three-year growth strategy guiding the academy's continued expansion.
