Greybird Aviation Group Signs 10 P-Mentor and 3 P2006T NG Deal to Support European Expansion

Denmark – Greybird Aviation Group, a Denmark-headquartered European flight training group founded in 2013, has signed a 13-aircraft fleet expansion agreement with Tecnam at the AERO Friedrichshafen exhibition, comprising 10 P-Mentor single-engine trainers and three P2006T NG twin-engine aircraft to support its growing international cadet programs.

• The 13-aircraft order supports Greybird's "uniform fleet" philosophy, ensuring cadets train on aircraft with identical cockpit layouts and Garmin glass avionics from first flight through to multi-engine checkride, reducing transition times and enhancing training safety.
• The 10 Tecnam P-Mentors are certified to the latest EASA CS-23 Amendment 6 safety standards, powered by the Rotax 912iSc engine with Garmin G3X glass cockpit, supporting both VFR and IFR training phases.
• The three Tecnam P2006T NG twin-engine aircraft mirror the avionics logic of the P-Mentor, enabling a seamless transition for cadets progressing from single- to multi-engine training.
• Greybird Aviation Group operates training bases across Denmark, Sweden, and Spain, and has been actively expanding its European footprint with new bases in Finland (opened January 2026) and Norway, building a fully integrated Nordic pilot training platform aligned with airline demand.
