United Arab Emirates – Dubai-based low-cost carrier flydubai is recruiting a Chief Flight Instructor – MPL to lead the standardization and oversight of its Multi-Crew Pilot Licence flight instruction program, signaling continued investment in its in-house cadet pilot training infrastructure.
- The role is responsible for supervising all flight instructors and Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFIs) through an annual standardization program, overseeing the training and suitability assessment of new instructors, and monitoring instructional quality across flydubai's MPL training operations.
- Key responsibilities include monitoring trainee performance, initiating remedial training where required, overseeing the accuracy and compliance of trainee flight instruction records, and ensuring instructor licensing, medical validity, and recency compliance meet all regulatory requirements.
- The Chief Flight Instructor – MPL will also delegate standardization and supervision to flydubai Instructor Examiners (IEs) and Standardization Instructors (SIs), while retaining overall accountability for training quality and standards.
- The position requires 8–10 years of experience, a valid ATPL and TRE certificate, experience in leading a flight training academy designing and implementing ab initio training programs aligned with ICAO, GCAA, and airline partner requirements, and ICAO English Level 5 or above with familiarity across ICAO, CAA, EASA, and FAA regulatory frameworks.
