Edly Flight Training Financing Now Available at US Aviation Academy

April 26, 2026

USA – US Aviation Academy (USAA), one of the largest professional pilot training organisations in North America operating over 230 aircraft, has announced a partnership with Edly, a new entrant in the flight training loan provider segment, to offer income-based financing to its students.

  • Edly flight training loans are now available to US Aviation Academy students, providing income-based repayment that adjusts according to a pilot's earnings — designed to reduce financial burden during training and in the early years of a pilot's career.
  • US Aviation Academy currently operates approximately 230 aircraft across multiple campuses, with around 2,000 active students enrolled in its professional pilot training program's.
  • The partnership adds a dedicated financing pathway for USAA students alongside the academy's existing training infrastructure, addressing a key barrier to entry for aspiring commercial pilots in the United States.
  • Edly's income-based repayment model differentiates it from traditional fixed-payment loan structures by linking repayment obligations to the borrower's post-training income, reducing the risk of default during the lower-earning CFI time-building phase.

  • "With so many aspiring pilots choosing US Aviation Academy, we see a wide range of financing needs. Edly flight training loans offer our students the flexibility and affordability that is so critical during training and in the early years of a pilot's career," said Mike Sykes, CEO of US Aviation Academy.
