East African Operator Issues Boeing 767 Level D FFS Training RFI in March 2026

March 25, 2026

Global – An East African operator is actively evaluating Boeing 767 flight crew training options and seeking detailed proposals from B767 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS) operators.

  • The airline is requesting technical specifications for available B767 FFS devices, including aircraft variant, engine type, avionics configuration, visual system specifications (including confirmation of Large Display System installation), and motion system details with simulator generation and model identification.
  • Regulatory approval status is a key evaluation criterion, with the operator specifically requesting confirmation of current FAA, EASA, UK CAA, or other applicable authority qualifications, alongside documentation of the most recent qualification or recurrent evaluation of each device.
  • The procurement enquiry covers both initial training and ongoing recurrent requirements — with the operator seeking information on training slot availability, recurrent training support, and the conduct of Proficiency Checks (PPC, LPC, and OPC) at potential partner facilities.
