Netherlands – Dutch Aviation Trainers (DAT), a Rotterdam-headquartered EASA Approved Training Organisation, has received official approval from the Dutch Aviation Authorities (CAA-NL) to deliver Boeing 737 Difference Training courses covering the 737 Classic to Next Generation (NG) and 737 MAX transition pathways.

  • The new approval expands DAT's training portfolio beyond its existing Boeing 737 Type Rating program, enabling the organization to support airlines and pilots with structured transitions across the full Boeing 737 family from Classic through NG to MAX variants.
  • The 737 Difference Training course is a three-day program delivered at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, comprising compact and focused ground school training and airline-standard sessions on Full Flight Simulator (FFS) and FTD Level 2 devices, led by experienced active airline instructors.
  • DAT's existing EASA-approved training portfolio includes Boeing 737 Type Rating training, Type Rating Instructor (TRI) and Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) training for Embraer 135/145/Legacy aircraft, Boeing 777 training programs, and Type Rating Examiner (TRE) and Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) training for the Embraer 170/190 and Embraer 190-E2 series.
  • In 2025, DAT expanded its Embraer training capabilities with approval to deliver TRI and SFI training for the Embraer 135/145/Legacy platform including Line Training and LIFUS authority, and partnered with Heading365 GmbH to integrate the B777 FMS Trainer PRO app into its training programs.
