CAE Opens Applications for 2026 Generation easyJet MPL Program

United Kingdom – CAE has opened applications for UK candidates to the Generation easyJet Pilot Training Program, a Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) pathway designed to place 100 cadets in the easyJet flight deck by 2028.

• The Generation easyJet MPL is a competency-based program designed specifically for easyJet, with cadets selected and mentored by the easyJet team from the start of the program through to joining the airline as an Airbus A320 co-pilot.
• The program is priced at €115,000 and includes all ground, simulator, and flight training, ATPL theory manuals and EASA/UKCAA theory exams, Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (A-UPRT), uniform, flight bag, and CAE's First Officer Quality Insurance covering resits and remedial training.
• Training is structured across five phases:
  • ATPL theoretical knowledge (approximately 950 hours, delivered in Brussels, Madrid, or London Gatwick)
  • Core flight training on single- and multi-engine piston aircraft (approximately 78 hours)
  • Basic flight training on CAE's Airbus A320 600XR FTD and 7000XF simulators (approximately 32 hours, Milan or London Gatwick)
  • Intermediate training in multi-crew A320 simulator operations using easyJet SOPs (approximately 108 hours)
  • Advanced training culminating in MPL licence and A320 type rating (approximately 32 hours)
• CAE has been delivering training equipment and services for easyJet pilots since 1995 and was selected as the airline's MPL launch partner in 2010. To date, the partnership has trained and delivered more than 1,200 pilots through easyJet MPL, Integrated ATPL, and type-rating training programmes.
• The selection process comprises three stages: online application review, the CAE ADAPT pilot aptitude test (covering hand-eye coordination, motor skills, spatial awareness, and technical reasoning), and a final stage including group exercises and a personal interview.
