Global – Boeing Global Services is hosting a one-hour webinar on 21 April 2026 titled "Miami Campus Experience: The Evolution from Task-Based to Competency-Based Pilot Training," featuring a customer case study on Dominican Republic carrier Arajet's transition to Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodology.
- The webinar covers three core topics: an overview of Boeing's Miami Campus training facilities, simulators, and training ecosystem; the benefits and methodology of CBTA-enhanced flight training versus traditional task-based approaches; and a customer case study on Arajet's transition from legacy training to CBTA, including challenges faced, lessons learned, and benefits gained in pilot performance, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Boeing's Miami Campus is described as Boeing's largest Commercial Training Solutions campus, with a team of approximately 100 professionals delivering integrated training to pilots, maintenance technicians, and cabin crew worldwide, and more than 50 Boeing Instructor pilots providing training on every Boeing production aircraft type.

- Glen Sheppard (Head of Flight Training, Boeing Global Services, with over 30 years at the Miami Flight Training organisation)
- Stuart Gruber (Senior Airline Training Deployment Manager, Boeing Global Services)
- Andres Moreira (Head of Training & Standards, Arajet — a 737 MAX Captain and Type Rating Instructor with experience as a flight safety officer, IOSA internal auditor, and accident investigator).
The webinar is scheduled at 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time on 21 April 2026; registration also grants access to a recording for those unable to attend live.
