Avion and AeroStar Partner to Bring FAA-Approved A320 Training to London Luton Airport

United Kingdom & USA – Avion Full Flight Simulators and AeroStar Training Services have announced a partnership to offer FAA-approved Airbus A320 type rating training, ATP-CTP training, and other FAA programs at Avion's Flight Training Centre at London Luton Airport — the first FAA-approved A320 training option in the United Kingdom.

• Training will be delivered on Avion's Airbus A320neo Level D full flight simulator at London Luton Airport.
• Once FAA approval is granted, pilots will be able to obtain FAA certificates and type ratings in the UK without travelling to the United States, providing an alternative pathway for pilots seeking FAA-based Airbus training outside of the US.
• FAA-based training is expected to commence later in 2026, subject to FAA approval.
• AeroStar Training Services is an FAA-certified Part 141 and 142 full flight simulator training center based in Kissimmee, Florida, which recently also announced a partnership with ICARE in Morlaix, France, for EASA A320/A320neo type rating training, further expanding its transatlantic training footprint.
