USA – Aviation radio communications training technology company PlaneEnglish has announced a new partnership with North Carolina-based flight school High Tide Aviation, providing students with access to ARSim — PlaneEnglish's Aviation Radio Simulator — to deliver structured, FAA-aligned radio communications training ahead of live flight operations.

  • ARSim enables student pilots at High Tide Aviation to practise realistic radio communication scenarios using FAA-aligned phraseology in a ground-based simulation environment, building confidence and competency before operating on live radio frequencies.
  • The partnership is positioned as a response to radio communications being one of the most challenging elements of early-stage flight training, with PlaneEnglish citing structured practice, real-world context, and consistent feedback as key components of effective communications training.
  • The integration aims to improve student preparation on the ground, with the objective of producing more confident and capable pilots by the time they conduct live radio communications in the aircraft.
