Austria – Aviation Academy Austria (AAA), an EASA-certified pilot training group headquartered in Neusiedl am See, has appointed Bram Dhollander as Sales & Market Strategist.
- Dhollander returns to Aviation Academy Austria, where his aviation career originally began, signalling a strategic hire aimed at driving the academy's commercial development across both its flight training and simulator training operations. He confirmed he will represent AAA at AERO Friedrichshafen from 22–25 April 2026.
- Aviation Academy Austria has been in a period of sustained expansion. In December 2025, AAA took delivery of the first newly produced European-built Diamond DA20i Katana since the aircraft's production relaunch, followed by a second DA20i in early 2026. The academy's training fleet now comprises seven DA20i, four DA40NG, and two DA42NG-VI aircraft.
- AAA operates five Level D full flight simulators, all manufactured by AXIS Flight Simulation in a partnership spanning over 20 years. The simulator fleet includes Europe's first Level D Bombardier Challenger 350. The academy has plans for further growth including the acquisition of additional land and two new full flight simulators.
- In December 2025, AAA received approval from Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to provide type rating, licence renewal, and recurrent training for ATR 42/72, Citation XLS/CJ1+, and Challenger 350 platforms — expanding its international regulatory footprint beyond EASA.
- The academy trains approximately 200 flight students annually and collaborates with international airlines, including Austrian Airlines, to deliver professional pilot training programmes.
